Long Range Plan
The Long-Range Plan (LRP) is to identify specific actions to be implemented in the San Juan River Basin that will contribute to recovery of the Colorado Pikeminnow and Razorback Sucker in accordance with species Recovery Goals. Recovery of both listed species will be accomplished within the context of conservation and management of the entire native fish assemblage and in a manner that does not compromise, impair, or diminish persistence of unprotected native fishes. The LRP is based on research information from past studies in the San Juan River Basin, other regions and Recovery Program evaluation reports to identify multi-year research, monitoring, and recovery actions necessary to achieve the Recovery Program goals.
*Some years only the Appendix, which records the progress towards the Recovery Program goals outlined in the Long Range Plan, is updated.
